The Smack That star, 26, has been working with the Thriller hitmaker on his highly-anticipated forthcoming record - and the experience has left him completely star-struck.

He tells MTV.com, "He's incredible. He's a genius. Just to be in the same room (with him), I felt everything I wanted to accomplish in life has been achieved. That aura ... that's how incredible that aura is."

"The way he thinks... some artists think regional, some think national, I was thinking international. He thinks planets. It's on another level."

Raymone K. Bain, Michael Jackson 's spokesperson and General Manager, confirmed to the Italian Fan Club that the King Of Pop posed for the October issue of Vogue (italian version). The photoshoot took place in the past few days in New York.

Michael Jackson's 1995 hit You are Not Alone was plagiarized from a song written by Belgian twins in 1993, a Belgian court has ruled.

The court transferred rights to the song to the twin composer brothers, Eddy and Danny Van Passel, according to a report on Agence France Presse.

The judgment is only applicable in Belgium and so the Van Passels will have difficulty collecting royalties.

The song was written by U.S. singer-songwriter Robert Kelly and released in August 1995 by Jackson from his album HIStory: Past, Present and Future: Book I.

The Van Passels say the work is identical to their song If We Can Start All Over.

They have been fighting for 12 years to gain recognition for their work and have the backing of Belgian rights society, SABAM, which confirmed in 1995 that the songs are the same.

The Van Passels have published songs in more than 100 countries, and had a No. 1 hit in Asia with Dying Inside to Hold You.

LAS VEGAS, Nevada (September 10, 2007) — Forget Britney — Last night’s MTV Video Music Awards belonged to 18-year-old Chris Brown, whose electrifying performance and homage to Michael Jackson kick started the show into high gear.

One person who took notice of Brown’s dazzling display was none other than the King of Pop himself, who issued this exclusive statement to Access Hollywood:

“Chris is a bright and shining star whom I enjoy watching perform. I am happy to have had a positive influence on him.”

Justin Timberlake, a big winner at last night’s awards, was also impressed by Brown’s dynamic energy:

“Nobody likes to be reminded that they’re getting older. And whatever Chris Brown just did reminded me of how I’m getting older,” said the 28-year-old Timberlake on the broadcast. “Cause damn. It’s just exciting to see”

Brown’s dance break to the riff from Jackson’s “Billie Jean” was only one part of an elaborate set, that began with the carnival-inspired “Wall to Wall” and climaxed with an all-out dance spectacle to Brown’s and T-Pain’s “Kiss Kiss.” There was also a surprise performance from Rihanna thrown in to take things even higher.

Brown’s sophomore album, “Exclusive,” is scheduled to hit stores on November 6.

People Magazine has followed other publications in reporting untrue and inaccurate information about Michael Jackson and the Jackson Family. Of these widely reported rumors, what has become the most troubling and herendus, is that my son, and our brother Michael Jackson is dependent on painkillers and alcohol.

People, and other news organizations, have quoted "sources" indicating that our family has attempted a drug intervention, and engaged in an effort to take over his business affairs, because of this alleged drug and alcohol usage.

We categorically deny ever planning, participating in, of having knowledge of any kind of intervention whatsoever. We strongly believe that these "sources" and others, no matter who they are, are making these defamatory, inaccurate, and untrue claims for monetary reasons.

Michael Jackson and the Jackson family has endured years of false accusations and misrepresentations.

Radio bosses at a Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania station are playing what they claim is a new song by MICHAEL JACKSON.

Mamacita, which is being aired on 93.1 Kiis FM, is a dance track and contains segments sung in Spanish.

Jackson hasn't released a new song since One More Chance was included on his 2003 compilation album Number Ones.

Raymone Bain denied that Michael has released ANY new single.

UPDATE: Raymone Bain, Jackson's power publicist, called us back. She told us that Mr. Jackson has "not released any new material" and as far as she knows this is not his song. She says it is a "smooth criminal pulling a fast one!" She did say, however, that if someone has leaked material illegally, their lawyers would pursue it

ROME (AP) — Luciano Pavarotti, whose vibrant high C's and ebullient showmanship made him one the most beloved tenors, has died, his manager told The Associated Press. He was 71.

Pavarotti had been diagnosed with pancreatic cancer last year and underwent further treatment in August 2007. His manager, Terri Robson, told the AP in an e-mail statement that Pavarotti died at his home in Modena, Italy, at 5 a.m. local time.

"The Maestro fought a long, tough battle against the pancreatic cancer which eventually took his life. In fitting with the approach that characterised his life and work, he remained positive until finally succumbing to the last stages of his illness," the statement said.

For serious fans, the unforced beauty and thrilling urgency of Pavarotti's voice made him the ideal interpreter of the Italian lyric repertory, especially in the 1960s and '70s when he first achieved stardom. For millions more, his charismatic performances of standards like "Nessun dorma" from Puccini's "Turandot" came to represent what opera is all about.

Instantly recognizable from his charcoal black beard and tuxedo-busting girth, Pavarotti radiated an intangible magic that helped him win hearts in a way Placido Domingo and Jose Carreras - his partners in the "Three Tenors" concerts - never quite could.
